Events in Mexico were also important to the United States because one country can affect another. For instance, if a terrorist attack happened in Mexico, the United States would hear about it on the news and feelin danger. Therefore, it is important for countries to communicate with eachother before an event happens.
Events in Mexico were also crucial to the U.S because they helped American in fulfilling is manifest destiny which was expanding their territory to the north part of the continent.
There have been arguments regarding the events of the Mexican and America during the war. Those who defend the war criticize it by explaining that the Mexican political leaders and the American opinion-makers in history were unable to explain the attitudes of the Mexican government.
According to their interpretations, they are biased through the official declaration that they have made in the newspapers, which is the contrary opposite of the evidence. This, therefore, indicates Mexico exaggerated the belligerency.
