After eleven months, the Gestapo became suspicious.
Remaining cool under the threat of capture, Baissac was
able to return to England unharmed. There she helped to
train new agents in parachuting. After recovering from a
broken leg sustained during training, she completed other
missions, including one in Normandy, France, where she
worked with her brother Claude.
