The U.S. President is elected by the Electoral College, and the Prime Minister is the leader of the majority party elected to parliament. Although neither are directly elected by the people, they are both put there indirectly by the voice of the people. Do you think this is an appropriate structure for a democratic society? Why or why not?

Respuesta :

Answer:

I think it is

Explanation:

The whole point of Democracy is to give the people the most power to run the government.

One big problem about it is that people who live in a lot of countries tend to have a lot of different perspective and opinion to the point where it is impossible for all citizens to be completely agree on something.

This is why we choose to elect representatives that we can trust to run things for us. NOT ALL people will be happy about the representative's performance, but all citizens will forced to make compromise with one another.
