At the end of each body paragraph in an essay, you should do all of the following except

A. restate your thesis statement.
B. finish your explanations.
C. transition to the next paragraph.
D. remind readers of your point.

Respuesta :

A. Restating your thesis statement

When stating the counterclaim, it's important put aside your belief or point of the subject and give the other side a fair stance in your essay. To do so, you must not continually "restate your thesis statement" as it my give the opposite of the desired effect.

Note also that is says "restate your thesis statement" and not "restate your claim." A claim supports your thesis, and you to correctly compose an essay, claims should be at the end of each body paragraph in an essay. A thesis, however, should only come up in your paper 2-3 times as to not overbear your readers and retain the class in your essay.
