He also has leadership abilities, heading the Beagle Scouts with his followers, the birds. While he does have a competitive spirit, as can be seen when he's playing tennis, hockey, or other sports, he also has a soft-hearted side, as evidenced by the times he cuddles up with Charlie Brown. Since Snoopy is a loyal companion, he's always willing to lend a helping paw whether it be to Charlie Brown or any of his friends.
