A - Test performance is influenced by cultural experiences

People who perform higher on intelligence tests are ones who have had more exposure to life and life experiences. This is one reason why schools have a lower IQ score to be considered 'gifted' if the student is from a lower socio-economic background - they have fewer opportunities for cultural experiences.
