Alienation from one's religion is NOT one of Marx's four types of alienation and has nothing to do with Marx. In fact, according to Karl Marx, there are only 4 types of alienation within the capitalism mode of production, such as:
- Alienation from the product of one's labor.
- Alienation from one's self.
- Alienation from others.
- Alienation of the worker from the act of production.
