This was the first step towards the development of a full-fledged conflict. Realizing its power after Korea's accession, Japan could not moderate imperial ambitions, which led to pressure on China. This led to constant armed clashes. Inside the country, the political situation was very turbulent. At the turn of the century, the empire finally collapsed. This led to massive uprisings, the division of the state into separate parts, the loss of territories that had long wished for independence and decided not to miss the chance. Also began the civil war, which faced supporters of the authorities of the Hominidae and communists.
The Sino-Japanese War lasted about 8 years and because of the uneasy history of China at this time to estimate the number of dead is rather difficult.
Speaking about the role of this war for world history, there is no doubt that it has become one of the key. China has taken a blow and has won a huge price in this fight.
