In this item, we are to identify the parts of the heart with the given functions. The right side of the human's heart pumps blood to the lungs for it to pick up oxygen. The left side of the heart receives the oxygen-rich blood from the lungs and pumps it to the body.

The aorta is the largest artery which carrier oxygenated blood to all the parts of the body. Arteries carrry blood away from heart because they carry oxygenated blood to all the body parts. The veins carry de-oxygeneated blood towards the heart. The aorta has many branches to supply blood systematically to the body.
