A 1.2-m-tall barrel is filled with water (with a weight density of 9800 N/m^3). Find the water pressure on the bottom of the barrel.

As we know that pressure due to water is given as

Pressure = (weight density) (Depth)

here we know that

weight density of water = [tex]9800 N/m^3[/tex]

height of the water = 1.2 m

now from above formula we have

[tex]P = 9800 \times 1.2[/tex]

[tex]P = 11760 Pa[/tex]

so pressure due to water is given as 11760 Pascal
