Homeostasis. examples: body temperature

Answer:

Homeostasis

Explanation:

All living organisms irrespective of the changes that occurs in their environment have the ability to maintain their internal environment. This process is called HOMEOSTASIS. Homeostasis is the ability of a living organism to maintain or regulate its internal composition irrespective of environmental changes.

A vivid example of HOMEOSTASIS is the maintenance of body temperature in humans. The body employs different methods like sweating, to regulate and maintain its internal temperature at 37°C despite changes in the environmental temperature. This is why the environmental temperature can be very high but the body temperature of humans remains maintained at the optimum 37°C.
