I disagree: the words you read are interpretations from the writer. The writer is explaining the beauty THEY see through their OWN vocab. When you look at a picture your brain tells you what is beautiful to you and you interpret the beauty in a picture in your own way.
After reading the given statement, I made my conclusions based on my observations. I disagree with the statement that words do a better job of showing beauty than pictures. Even though it is possible to create mental pictures with words, pictures show the visuals which are more entertaining to most people.
- When words are used to form beautiful scenes, the reader must read and digest the information before he appreciates the beauty.
- This takes more time. But with pictures one can immediately see and admire the scene, thus digesting and appreciating the beauty.
- Therefore, I do not agree with the statement that words can do a better job of showing beauty than pictures.
