We can easily draw graph of function f(t)=2 cos(-4t) by plotting points (0,2),(3π/2,-2)(π,2)(π/2,2).

What is function?

Function is a relationship between two or more variables expressed in equal to form whos each value of x have value of y. Values of x is called domain of the function. Values of y is called codomain of function.

How to make graph of function?

To make graph of function f(t)=2 cos(-4t) we have to first find the points which lie on the graph.

Put the value of t=0 then f(0)=2 cos(0)

=2 *1

=2

Put the value of t=3π/2 then f(3π/2) then f(3π/2)=2 cos(-4*3π/2)

=2cos (-6π)

=2*-1

=-2.

Put the value of t=π then f(π)=2 cos(-4π)

=2*1

=2

Put the value of t=π/2 then f(π/2)=2 cos(-4*π/2)

=2 cos(-2π)

=2*1

=2

We have to put the points  (0,2),(3π/2,-2)(π,2)(π/2,2) and we will get the graph of f(t)=2 cos (-4t)
