All modern economies use some combination of Capitalism and Socialism
Economic freedom played an important role in modern economies. But that's being said, there some aspect of economy that needed the Government supervision.
For example, can you imagine if all important natural source such as water falls entirely to the hands of capitalist ? people will pay very expensive price to obtain water just because we can not live without it.
