In my soil science class we were asked to give the general relationship bewtween the mean annual air temperature, and the mean annual soil temperature? Am I supposed to describe how one differs or correlates with the other?
In my opinion, the best way to approach this answer would be to start off with explaining both concepts and then to explain how they both relate to each other - having this connection explained I think your teacher will be satisfied.
