so pretty much all we have to do here is subtract 10 and 1/8 minus 5 and 3/4. here's the solving

the first thing we should do here is turn them into mixed fraction by multiplying the whole number and the denominator. and add the top number. so for 10 and 1/8 we multiply 8 and 10 which is 80 and add the one.
so now we have our numerator which is 81/8 the bottom number stays the same!!
