For example, Benjamin Franklin and George Washington were two of the national-level celebrities at that period, and both of them supported the constitution. The federalists were also well funded, well organized, and made especially careful use of the printed word. The federalists were also being supported by the newspapers and media since they also posted articles and pamphlets that included the reason as to why people need to approve the constitution.
