Rudi got cut from track team tryouts and she is very distraught. She worked very hard to make it through several days of tryouts, and now she has come to you to vent her frustrations. Using concepts of humanism, how would you respond to Rudi as she talks to you?

I would listen to her. Don't interrupt unless she allows you to. She is very sad at this time and needs someone to tell everything to. Don't say anything that might bring her down. Tell her postive things!
