Reptiles, such as snakes, become extremely inactive during the winter months. They become active again, hunting for food, when the weather becomes warmer. D) Reptiles make the choice to become inactive in cold temperatures.

The answer is B, even though it is not technically correct.  The term "cold-blooded" is a misnomer as it applies to reptiles.  Reptiles are poikilothermic, which means they have to absorb heat from the environment in order to maintain metabolic functions.  Without enough heat, they become lethargic, and are unable to digest their food.
