If we look at the 2nd equation

Now we will isolate y and we obtain:
[tex] \frac{2y}{2} = \frac{4x + 6}{2} \\ \\ y = 2x + 3 [/tex]
Since both equations are equivalent, then they must have an infinite amount of solutions.
