Why are temperatures more moderate around the fall and spring equinoxes?
The answer is - The angle at which Earth's axis tilts changes.
As the axial tilt increases, the seasonal contrast increases and this subsequently results in winters getting colder and summers getting warmer in both hemispheres. The tilt is also responsible for various seasons that the Earth witnesses.
There are different changes in climates of a place. The temperatures is more moderate around the fall and spring equinoxes is because neither end of earth’s axis is tilted towards the sun.
The Equinoxes such as Vernal and Autumnal are known to be two times of the year when the Earth's axis is known or said to be tilted neither toward nor away from the sun.
This can lead to close or equal amount of daylight and darkness at all latitudes. These events are known or regarded as Equinoxes.
