one way you can solve this is with a proportion it is set up like this
[tex] \frac{10 }{5} = \frac{ x}{7} [/tex]
on the top you have the test and the x represents the test we are trying to find. on the bottom is the number of weeks that you've taken. first you will have to do 5 times x. and then 10 times seven then you will end up with a set up like this
[tex]5x = 70[/tex]
next you will divide both sides by 5. ( you always divid by x) and what you do on one side you have to do on the other. 5x divided by 5 is x and 70 divided 5 is 14. so your answer will be
[tex]x = 14[/tex]
