Individual rights are not absolute because they exist in society; in other words, they can not be absolute since that would cause a collision with other people’s rights. For example, the right to freedom does not include the right to kill others (in this case, there would be a collision between the right to freedom and the right to life). Also, the right to freedom of expression does not include the right to insult or humiliate others.

But even with this right people do not have the right to go about laying false claims. They could be sued for libel.
