No, gravity does have an important role in the universe. Gravity is what keeps the things on the plants, dwarf plant, comet, ect, in it. Without gravity, the water on Earth will just float around in space. Also, gravity is what is keeping the satellite (such as our moon) attach to the planets and dwarf planet.
