Julian is 10 years younger than Thomas. The sum of their age is 40. What is Thomas age

So first we subtract 10 from 40 and get 30. We divide this by the number of people (2) to get Julian's age: 15. We add 10 to this to get Thomas age = 25. 25 + 15 = 40

Thomas is 25 years old.
