Algebra is my weak spot, but I've done this before.
Okay, as an example,
x - a = a - x
Substitute the numbers,
So if x = 2 and a = 7, we can put them together as
2 - 7 = 7 - 2
The main goal is to simplify each side and then see if they match.
2 - 7 = −5
7 - 2 = 5
You can implement the answers like this:
-5 = 5
-5 and 5 ARE NOT EQUAL TO EACH OTHER. They are not the same number.
So, you would put a slash through the equal sign and say that the statement is false.
If a problem, for example, has an answer that looks like this:
12 = 12
The statement is true and you leave the equal sign alone.
Good luck, fam
