In these two triangle Ad be the base
Area of △ABD= 1/2 x AD x B
Area of △ACD = 1/2 x AD x CL
We know that Area of △ABD /Area of △ACD 1/2
[1/2 x AD x BH] /[1/2 x AD x CL] = 1/ 2
BH/CL = 1/2
BH : CL = 1:2
