Maria Sharapova is one of the most important Russian tennis players. one of the biggest goals achieved by Maria Sharapova is to become the number one in the world only at the age of 18, in 2015. On the other hand, Santosh Yadav is a prominent Indian mountaineer. Santosh is well known to be the first woman to climb the Mount Everest in 1992. These women are really dedicated to sports.

Santosh Yadav is an Indian mountain climber. Maria Sharapova is a Russian tennis player. Even though the sports they engage in are different, the two women have courageously attained a remarkable height in the sports world and it is worthy of note.

In May 1992, Santosh Yadav successfully climbed the Mountain Everest from the Tibet Autonomous Region in China. The achievement proved that Santosh Yadav is the first woman to have climbed the Mountain Everest. Again, the fifty years old achieved this feat in May 1993.

However, Maria Sharapova, the Russian tennis player had numerous competitions in which she won. The record has it that she has been competing on the WTA tour since 2001 and on five different occasions, she has been as rated No 1 by the women tennis organization.
