Cacique Guaicaipuro was a chieftain in South America, on the territory of Venezuela, and he is best known for leading multiple tribes into war with the Spanish because he was not willing to give on his land and traditions.

He was the chief of both the Teques and Caracas tribes.

But he became a leader of Cacique, Naiguata, Paramaconi, Chacao, Guaicamacuto, Aramaipuro, and Baruta.

After initially defeating the Spanish, and becoming chief of all the tribes in the region, Guaicaipuro was attacked attacked by another Spanish expedition, his hut was set on fire, and as he stormed out to fight them he was killed.
