My statement is as an American you are legally an American citizen and are of American nationality. Those are the legal basics anyway, you could mention some American privileges but, those should be researched beforehand. An example of a privilege is the strength of our military though it is not superior to all countries.

Being American is being free and having liberty. One of our greatest symbols is the Statue of Liberty. We are all protected by the constitution and the law that serves to our purpose. You have the right to pursue your dreams! What I also do appreciate is the people fighting for my freedom as well. They are risking their lived just so I’m safe, for people they don’t even know. And if isn’t for those reasons at least they’re brave enough to go way out of their comfort zone to fight.
