Primary sources are firsthand sources that were during the time period of the incident or artifacts for instance. Historians interpret primary sources as firsthand sources with information that could show different perspectives and hidden information that has not been said by other sources (secondary).
Secondary sources are documents or sources that relate to the incident. Historians interpret secondary sources as general and typically non-biased information, however, depending on where some sources were published, this can be different.
