The heart pump oxygenated blood throughout the body and receive deoxygenated blood back in return. Next, the lungs take in oxygen which goes into the blood through the heart, and expels carbon dioxide as the heart receives unoxygenated blood. Meanwhile, the kidney filter things like water and salts out of the blood and produce urine and help regulate blood pressure.
Lastly, the liver produce bile that sends enzymes to the stomach for digestion, filters out toxins and regulates blood sugar. However, the human body have other 75 organs or organ systems that vary in sizes and perform specific functions.
