Kush was a portion of Nubia and defined as the precinct between the Cataracts of the Nile. The Cataracts of the Nile are the group of six whitewater rapids which should be used as key way points for many years.
Early Settlement of Egypt and Kush, geography of the region surrounded by River Nile helped in the growth of farming. The Nile River produced fresh water in a region which was chiefly desert. This resulted in irrigation of fields which helps in growth of crops. Moreover, River Nile acts as the natural barrier and also flooded lower and upper region which resulted in the coating of land with slit.
