We use the kinematic equation of motion,
[tex]s= ut + \frac{1}{2} a t^2[/tex]
Here, s is displacement, u is initial velocity, a is acceleration and t is time.
Given [tex]a = 4.3 \ m/s^2[/tex] , [tex]t =2.05 s[/tex] .
We take, [tex]u = 0[/tex] because object starts from rest.
Substituting these values in above equation, we get
[tex]s = 0 \times 2.05 \ s + \frac{1}{2} (4.3 \ m/s^2)(2.05 \ s)^2 \\\\ s = 9.0 \ m.[/tex]
Therefore, displacement of object from starting position is 9 m.
