Read the passage from Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass.
I was born in Tuckahoe, near Hillsborough, and about twelve miles from Easton, in Talbot county, Maryland.
Which element of an autobiography is demonstrated in this passage?
Characters and events described in great detail
The inclusion of an exposition, rising action, turning point, climax, falling action, and resolution
The intent of the author to persuade his readers
The recording of events in chronological order

Respuesta :

From this small passage one can barely notice one of the characteristics of an autobiography. The main characteristics of an autobiography are:

1.- Order your story in a Chronological order

2.- Speak in the First Person

3.- Define well all the characters involved in your life

4.- Explain in good detail the setting of your "life-story"

5- give plenty of details about the most transcendent things

In the passage from Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass:

I was born in Tuckahoe, near Hillsborough, and about twelve miles from Easton, in Talbot county, Maryland.

The only present element of an Autobiography is:

The recording of events in chronological order

Although we only have one element, it belongs to the category.
