They have powers all in all having back of their chief. The only chief has final decision pwer. He listens to others but finally, he takes a decision on his own. He is all in all. Dictators held elections in which the dictator is the only candidate.
When dictators take over the charge of governments they don't take a decision in parliament or under the law. They impose emergency and abolish the law, courts don't work properly and human rights are finished. New policies and plans are imposed on the public.
In this kind of government, the dictators and the helpers of a dictator doesn't allow political parties to stand against them openly. They allow them to do a friendly opposition or there is no opposition or weak opposition.
