In this passage from act IV of Romeo and Juliet lord capulet is preparing for Juliet’s wedding after threatening to disown her if she refuses to marry Paris what statement best describes the character of lord capulet

Respuesta :

He shows many personality traits throughout the play. Good and bad. In the beginning he prevents Tybalt from hurting Romeo though he is a Montague. This shows respect and empathy to his character. Later on, however, he tells Juliet that he will disown her if she is not to marry Paris. This shows that he believes that only he is correct and that his rules should be followed.
