No it could not be advertised as fat free, if it had very low fatty acid and glycerol it could be marketed as low fat. It’s misleading because most consumers done understand what is fat and what is not, and the difference between what are “good” fats and “bad” fats are.
If a food product contained fatty acids and glycerol molecules but didnt contain trigylcerides, it could nt be put in stores as fat free because fatty acids and glycerol is considered as low fat.
