four friends ordered Chinese food for dinner. The Kung Fu chicken cost $11. does sweet and sour pork cost $8 and the Mongolian beef cost $13. Do you friends want to split the cost equally. Find the cost per person. Use words and or numbers to show how you determined your answer.

Step 1 - Add up all the prices , 11 + 13+ 8

Step 2 - find the sum , 11+13+8 equals 32 dollars

Step 3 - divide 32 by 4

( 32 is the total price and 4 is how many people are sharing the food)



The answer is 8 dollars per person
