A topographic map shows the natural and man-made features on the earth's surface. This is done by symbols to represent houses,roads,etc and contour lines to show the the height and steepness of a landform such as hills,mountains and valleys.
The major difference between a 'topographic map' and other maps is that a topographic map shows the features that may be natural or man made.
EXPLANATION:
The topographic map shows the houses, hotel, roads etc. the map marks the important checkpoints the path or the road, and the parks and bridges.
These are the difference otherwise the mapping style is same in all the maps. Topographic map uses different symbol systems to show all those features.
