0.15x = 225

15x = 22500

x = 1500

She will have to sell 1500 worth of sales to have the second job pay as much as the first.

x=number of sales
400=175+0.15x
solve for x
subtract 175 from both sides
225=0.15x
divide both sides by 0.15
1500=x
