Bob and mark talk about their families. Bob says he has 3 kids, the product of their ages is 72. He gives another clue: the sum of the ages of his children. Mark points out that there is still no enough information to accurately guess. Finally, bob says, "My youngest child called Justice." Mark can then correctly determine the ages of bob's children. What are the ages?

Respuesta :

this is old riddle

ok

xyz=72
sum
what we do is summ up the 3 parts of 72
so what I means is
factors of 72 that are in groups of 3
so example
1,1,72
thos are the ages of the youngest and oldest

so if we looked at all of them and added them up
1+1+72=74
1+2+36=39
1+3+24=27
1+4+18=23
1+6+12=19
1+8+9=18
2+2+24=39
2+3+12=17
2+4+9=15
3+3+8=14
3+4+6=13

we notice that there are no 2 same results exept for
1+2+36=39 and2+2+24=39

so therefor the last hint
'youngest childe is called justice'  tells us that there is a youngest child

therfor since 2=2 2 is not younger than 2 so
1,2,36 are the ages
 1,2,3,4,6,8,9,12,18,36,72
