An electromagnet is is a type of magnet in which the magnetic field is produced by an electric current. The magnetic field disappears when the current is turned off. Electromagnets usually consist of a large number of closely spaced turns of wire that create the magnetic field. An induction is the production of an electric or magnetic state by the proximity (without contact) of an electrified or magnetized body. The production of an electric current in a conductor by varying the magnetic field applied to the conductorthe stage of the working cycle of an internal combustion engine in which the fuel mixture is drawn into the cylinders.
Hope this helped! :)
