If you happen to meet that kind of problem, the most appropriate series of steps to take in troubleshooting the issue is that first, are there steps that i haven't done? If there's no power even if it is plugged in, try to check the wire. Look for a different wire cable and connect it to your printer. If it still does not work, then check it over to the service center.
When you notice your printer does not turn on or respond when you press the power button, then, this is most likely that the printer has power issues. It is recommended that you find out whether all the lights are off and whether or not, there is noise from the printer.
Depending on the printer model, the first thing I’d check is the power supply. Assuming that this printer is one that uses an internal power supply, I’d make sure that the power module, cord, and wall outlet are working correctly. For better results, connect the printer directly into a working wall outlet and test the printer button by pressing and releasing the power button to start a power on/off cycle. Avoid holding down the power button. They should also consider testing the power with another compatible cable.
If after doing the above mentioned steps and the printer does not still have power, I’d suggest contacting the manufacturer for replacement or repair.
