Parentheses can be eliminated using the distributive property
-6x +6(3x -4xy) = -6x +18x -24xy
Like terms (those with the variable x only) can be combined
x(-6+18) -24xy = 12x -24xy . . . . . simplified
_____
In some cases, you may be interested in factoring the expression. 12x is a common factor for the two terms, so another way to write this expression is
... 12x(1 -2y)
To make it easy for you...
I'd put the ones with the same variable(s) together.
In this case, -6x + 3x = -9x
Then, 6+4xy would leave you with that to spare because you cannot add an integer to another integer unless they both have the same variables so that's as simple as it's gonna get which leaves you with... -9x + 6*4xy unless you decided to break it down once more and multiply the integers. That would then leave you with -9x + 24xy .
HOPE THIS CAN HELP YOU, WHICH I AM GLAD TO DO .
