[tex]\triangle_1:\\b=6in,\ h=6in\\\\A_{\triangle_1}=\dfrac{6\cdot6}{2}=18\ in^2\\\\\triangle_2:\\b=6in,\ h=6in\\\\A_{\triangle_2}=\dfrac{6\cdot6}{2}=18\ in^2[/tex]
The formula of an area of a square: [tex]A=a^2[/tex]
[tex]square:\\a=6in\\\\A_S=6^2=36\ in^2[/tex]
The area of the figure:
[tex]A_F=A_{\triangle_1}+A_{\triangle_2}+A_S\\\\A_F=18+18+36=72\ in^2[/tex]
