Of the four types of families, what type do you have? What is the composition of your family? What are the advantages and disadvantages of this composition?
Imagine your child comes home from school and tells you something about another culture that is not true. How would you help your child distinguish between truth and myth regarding other cultures?
Well, it depends...I don't know your family dynamic...
I would tell them the full truth. I would tell them that it's wrong for that to happen, but I would tell them to base it on facts, not fiction/opinion.
I live in an extended family. I have two parents, and three siblings. I am the only one still living in the household because my siblings have families or are still in college. The advantages are that myparents can provide support and care. The disadvantages are missing my siblings.
