Mostly because they consume most the water in the world. The average consumption of water in the world is roughly 200 liters a day, whereas UAE consumes 550 liters a day. Considering they have scarce resources, they consume a lot of their water. They are studying how they can save and use it when they won’t lose a lot of it within the next few years.
