The United States were the ones to put the Japanese in prison camps for our safety and theirs as well. Americans feared that some may be spies or terrorists ,but we also feared what other Americans may do to a Japanese person walking the streets of America. This was all due to the bombing of Pearl Harbor on December 7 1941
