Describe how overgrazing of grasslands by animals can cause desertification to occur.

if the animals eat too much and pull all the grass there will be nothing that catches rain and slows it down so the soil will start to wash away and with that nutrients the soil has will wash away too and than the animals will die from no food being grown for them graze.

Desertification means the process of making the fertile land into desert.

If animals started overgrazing the grasslands , it left land with no grass and at last it becomes like a desert.

Due to no grass , soil may be washed by force of water.

At the end,

It leads to desertification.
